Privacy Policy

Scope

This privacy policy explains which personal data about visitors is collected by the operator of these pages and how that data is handled. This privacy policy applies to the websites tailorama.com and rolandjesse.de including all sub-pages and subdomains.

What personal data we collect, and why

Personal data means information that can be associated with, or used to identify, a specific person — regardless of whether that association or identification follows directly from the data itself or from the data combined with other information accessible to the operator of these pages.

Access data / server log files

The operator collects data on each access to the service in the web server's log files in order to monitor technical operation and, in the event of incidents, investigate and respond appropriately. These access data include:

Retention period for access data

Access data is retained for one week and then deleted automatically.

Cookies

Registered users receive an authentication cookie at login. The cookie is not used for any other purpose. It is deleted on logout.

Embedding third-party services and content

The pages of this site may embed third-party content — for example videos from Vimeo or YouTube, posts from Mastodon, map material from OpenStreetMap, RSS feeds, or images from other sites. Doing so necessarily exposes the user's IP address to the providers of that content (hereafter "third-party providers"), since without the IP address they could not deliver the content to the user's browser. The IP address is therefore required for displaying such content.

Content embedded from other websites behaves exactly as though the visitor had visited the other site directly. Those sites may collect data about the visitor, set cookies, embed additional third-party tracking services, and record the visitor's interaction with the embedded content — including such interaction when the visitor has an account on, and is logged into, that other site.

The operator of this site endeavours to use only such content for which the respective providers use the IP address solely to deliver the content. The operator cannot, however, rule out that third-party providers may process and store the IP address — and, where applicable, set their own cookies — for purposes such as statistical analysis.

COROS API integration

Users who connect their COROS account to Tailorama consent to automatic retrieval of workout data from the COROS platform and its storage in their Tailorama account. The integration is optional and becomes active only after the user grants consent through COROS' OAuth authorisation dialog from the /settings/coros page. It can be revoked there at any time.

The following data is processed as part of the integration:

Imported workout data is stored exclusively in the user's own Tailorama account and is not shared with third parties. The interface is provided, and personal data on the COROS side is controlled, by COROS Wearables, Inc.; details of their processing are set out in the COROS Privacy Policy.

Disconnecting via /settings/coros immediately deletes the stored tokens and revokes the authorisation at COROS. Workout data already imported is retained in the user's account and can be deleted individually or together with the entire user account on request (see the Deletion of personal data section).

Consent

By providing required data, and optionally further voluntary data, the visitor consents to its collection, processing, use, and disclosure within the scope of the purposes described in this privacy policy.

Deletion of personal data

Visitors may request deletion of all personal data the operator holds about them. This does not extend to data the operator must retain for administrative, legal, or security-related reasons.

Disclosure to third parties

Data is disclosed to third parties only to the extent necessary for the provision of the services on these pages and the newsletter. The operator does not trade or sell personal data to third parties.
